The Lascivious Biddies, an all female cocktail pop quartet based in New York City, have earned a reputation for having an energetic and tightly woven live show, full of laughter, expert musicianship and a dash of sentimentality.

At SXSW 2005 the Biddies made a splash with the media and fans alike. "If the Donnas are rock's answer to girl power, then the Lascivious Biddies are jazz's answer to female singularity." (The Austin American-Statesman).

The Washington Post calls them "Manhattan's Hippest Girl Group." According to Time Out New York, the Biddies' second album, Get Lucky, overflows with "angelic vocal harmonies, wordy humor, jazz chops and pop moxie."

Biddy Buddies, this week has been a hard one in Biddyland!  Three of the four have been knocked out by what is either the flu or an evil cold from Mars. Since Thursday, three normally busy little Biddies have been pitiful lumps of fever. In spite of the hardship, a new Biddycast is available! The Biddies each called into share a little of what happens to the brain when it is denied what pleases it most...

Even here in the land of sunshine we've had it bad in Hawaii. I had a cold/flu bug for much of December and part of Jan. Part of the cure (besides antibiotics) was to take a Hot Toddy at night to get to sleep. Hope you girls feel better, just ordered the CD the other day.
