The Lascivious Biddies, an all female cocktail pop quartet based in New York City, have earned a reputation for having an energetic and tightly woven live show, full of laughter, expert musicianship and a dash of sentimentality.

At SXSW 2005 the Biddies made a splash with the media and fans alike. "If the Donnas are rock's answer to girl power, then the Lascivious Biddies are jazz's answer to female singularity." (The Austin American-Statesman).

The Washington Post calls them "Manhattan's Hippest Girl Group." According to Time Out New York, the Biddies' second album, Get Lucky, overflows with "angelic vocal harmonies, wordy humor, jazz chops and pop moxie."

CBS Evening News confirms: "The Lascivious Biddies could teach us all a thing or two."

I do like that new format with the interleaving music. Nice. But, c'mon, I need to see a picture of Saskia sign that man's boob. Nobody has that on film!?!?

Also, I know it's hard because the setup is different everywhere you go, but there just has to be some way to get a better live recording in these clubs, but I know you're working on it. It sounded a bit better this time.

P.S. Don't you have time to make a little side trip down to Orlando for me? You know you want to.

Hi Bill!

Pictures DO exist but Iamnot at liberty to release them at this time! Saskia's blush has to go down.

Just to put things into perpective, when the sound quality is bad in the podcast, very often that is because it is bad in the club as well. You can think of the variations in sound as part of the tour.

Last night we played at The Evening Muse in Charlotte NC, where the sound guy (Joe) is really wonderful. He ran a CD-R from the board, so we'll have fantastic clips from him!

Yet another dimension of podcasting...you get to tour the clubs' sound systems as well...

I just want to add that last night at the Muze in Charlotte was the first time I was ever Biddiefied(?)...and it was truly an experience. It was a true cornecopia of sounds! Great job ladies. Too bad I can't make Gastonia for Sat. night's show. Do you ever check your emails while on the road?

I hope to figure out the Podcast thing in the near future so I can follow more of your performaces, any hints for those of us less techy?

For the less techy, just go to ipodder.org and download the latest ipodder. There are free versions, but the iPodder X is superfly. I think it's $24.95. Then you can add a subscription to BiddyCast and it will get dumped right into your itunes!

Hey, I figured out the Biddy cast, not hard at all, but my server is down at work, can you tell me how to fix that as well? That would really rock!

Did you guys record anything for a Biddycast from your Muze show?
