The Lascivious Biddies, an all female cocktail pop quartet based in New York City, have earned a reputation for having an energetic and tightly woven live show, full of laughter, expert musicianship and a dash of sentimentality.

At SXSW 2005 the Biddies made a splash with the media and fans alike. "If the Donnas are rock's answer to girl power, then the Lascivious Biddies are jazz's answer to female singularity." (The Austin American-Statesman).

The Washington Post calls them "Manhattan's Hippest Girl Group." According to Time Out New York, the Biddies' second album, Get Lucky, overflows with "angelic vocal harmonies, wordy humor, jazz chops and pop moxie."

CBS Evening News confirms: "The Lascivious Biddies could teach us all a thing or two."

On this podcast I heard you mention, in passing, that you did not get much feedback from podcast Listeners. Well, here is a small morsel of feedback.

I enjoy your shows. I was first drawn to your podcast when I heard the opening song. I thought your voices were wonderful. I began listening thinking that I would be treated to more songs so I could enjoy your jazz and beautiful harmony.

After listening for some time I realized that I needed to buy your CDs to hear the music (I have bought two so far). By that time, however, I was hooked on listening to you and vicariously enjoying your adventures and shared friendship.

I personally think it is somewhat strange for a grown man to listen intently to the conversation of four young musicians. Perhaps you are like the Sirens of the Odyssey who lure young sailors to their doom. And I, like Odysseus, am lashed to the mast of my iPod powerless to steer towards shipwreck.

So there you have it. A little feedback. Please continue to send your sweet voices across the waves. Those of us without wax in our ears will continue to listen and enjoy.

By the way --- I hope this does not come across as too “Intellectual”. After hearing that song from your CD “Get Lucky” I would hate to be put in that class of fans. I do know you have a career and I love what you create.
