MS WALK 2006! Join Team Biddy!

This is Amanda Monaco from The Lascivious Biddies and BiddyCast. In January 2005, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease of the Central Nervous System. Multiple Sclerosis can create trouble walking, vision loss, numbness and loss of cognitive function, among other things.

Thankfully, I am doing very well and living my life as I always have, but there are others who are less fortunate than I.

The 7 train is not running Saturday, but it is still easy to get to LIC!

#1: Take the N or W to Queensboro Plaza (first stop in Queens) and follow signs to a shuttlebus to Vernon-Jackson. Go North 2 blocks to 49th Ave, make a left, it's right there!

or #2: take the E to 21st St - Ely. From there (exit the rear of the train, 44th Drive & 21st Street), follow 21st street South (street numbers getting larger, Manhattan on your right) to Jackson Ave. At Jackson bear right and follow to 49th Ave. Go right, pass Vernon Blvd, TCF is on your right. 10 minute walk from the train!

Thanks Matt for reminding me to tell the story!

We were getting ready to play and we had to pick a new word for the line "Time for a cocktail" in our song Jones.

The women from American Girl Place's marketing and management were hanging out in the back of the theater getting ready for the show, so we had them help us with a poll. We played the ending for them three times:

"Time for a milkshake!"
"Time for a smoothie!"

"Time for a latte!" got the most giggles and was, by that right, the clear winner...
